About Diploma in Engineering (Polytechnic)

Diploma in Engineering is a professional course which is of a total of 3 years duration. The candidates who have passed class 10th can apply for the diploma courses. Candidates who have not appeared in JEE and passed their Intermediate or Plus Two (12th) in Science with PCM can get admission in Diploma second year directly and after completing their diploma can join the degree course again in the second year. Thus, they can complete their diploma and degree together in 6 years (3 years diploma + 3 years B. Tech).

Through the Diploma in Engineering, the candidates can go for a specific stream of engineering. Through the course, the candidates are provided theoretical and practical knowledge in terms of basic Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Computer Science, and other related subjects.
