Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav : ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ 

Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav

As you are aware, “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav (AKAM)’ is an ongoing celebration to commemorate the 75 glorious years of a progressive independent India. This initiative by the Government of India aims to bring focus on our freedom struggle and on the milestones we have achieved as a nation. AKAM is dedicated to the people of India who have been instrumental in development of the country and its evolutionary journey.

Under the aegis of AKAM, a campaign ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ has been launched to encourage the citizens to hoist the National Flag of India in their homes. Idea behind the campaign is to instil a feeling of patriotism in the hearts of people and reminisce the contribution of those who tirelessly worked for nation building. It is envisaged that all citizens will be encouraged to hoist Tiranga in their home during the period from 13th to 15th August 2022.

In light of the above, it is requested to please encourage all faculty, staff and students of your Institution to hoist the National Flag in their homes during the period from 13th to 15th August 2022 and make the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ Campaign a resounding success.

Your support in this regard will be highly appreciated.

Agnipath Scheme Fire Path Scheme 2022

Greetings from All India Council for Technical Education !
 
It is to inform you that Agnipath Scheme (Fire-Path Scheme) is a new scheme introduced by the Government of India on 14 June 2022, for recruitment of soldiers below the rank of commissioned officers into the three services of the armed forces. The Agnipath Scheme will be the only route for recruitment into the military. Personnel recruited under this system are to be called Agniveers (Fire-Brave), which will be a new military rank. The scheme is scheduled to be implemented from September 2022.
Under the Agnipath scheme, 45,000 to 50,000 soldiers will be recruited annually, and most will leave the service in just 4 years. Of the total annual recruits, only 25% will be allowed to continue for another 15 years under permanent commission.

With the noble intention of helping youngsters get corporate jobs without struggling and waiting too much, Association of Muslim Professionals (AMP) will be organizing Mega Job Drives across 100 cities in the Country on Saturday, May 21st, 2021.

As many students will be finishing their Graduation or other Board Exams and may need to take up jobs to support their families, AMP as per its Vision & Mission decided to support them through these Job Drives.

International Women’s Day Celebration at MMANTC

Every year, International Women’s Day is celebrated on 8th March across the world for praising the women who work hard each day to accomplish personal and professional goals. It is a day when women are recognized for their achievements without regard to divisions, whether national, ethnic, linguistic, cultural, economic or political.
International women’s day was celebrated at Maulana Mukhtar Ahmad Nadvi Technical Campus (MMANTC) on 8th March 2022.
Dr. Naveed Hussain (Principal, MMANTC) expressed the importance of Women’s Day and the contribution of women in society by giving the example of Savitribai Phule and Fatema Shaikh.
Dr. Salman Baig (Dean Academics, MMANTC) was also present and encouraged the girls’ students.
Miss. Shagufta Parveen (Assistant Professor, MMANTC) was invited as a speaker on the occasion of international women’s day. She addressed the students and advised girls to excel in whatever field they choose and be ambitious and fearless.
Naema Shaikh (Student, Third Year E&TC) and Saher Rana (Student, First Year Engineering) delivered speeches on women empowerment and gender equality as student representatives.
Mrs. Poonam Bachhav performed dynamic anchoring of the program. The presence of all girls’ students of diploma and degree courses made the program successful.

A Session on Importance of Logical Reasoning and Aptitude

A Session was conducted on the Importance of Logical Reasoning and Aptitude at MMANTC
Training and Placement Cell of Maulana Mukhtar Ahmad Nadvi Technical Campus organized an interactive session on the “Importance of logical reasoning and aptitude” on 3 March 2022.

The session was delivered by Dr Fahad Iqbal (Head, Department of Electrical Engineering). He covered various topics of aptitude which are usually asked in competitive exams like GATE, UPSC, MPSC, SSC and others.

The students from all engineering branches were present during the session and these types of lectures cum training will be continued by the placement cell. It will help students to crack the interview aptitude rounds and the other competitive exams.
