Maulana Mukhtar Ahmad Nadvi Technical Campus (MMANTC) is a premier AICTE and DTE approved institution located near the bank of Girna River, Malegaon (20.55 N, 74.50 E) district of Nashik, since 2012. The campus consists Abdul Latif Ali Al Shaya Faculty of Engineering & Technology and Luluwa Yusuf Boodai Polytechnics established by Jamia Mohammadia Education Society (JMES), Mumbai.

Abdul Latif Ali Al Shaya Faculty of Engineering & Technology offers degree courses affiliated with Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Computer and Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering. Luluwa Yusuf Boodai Polytechnic offers diploma courses affiliated with the Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education (MSBTE) in Civil, Mechanical and Computer Engineering.

MMANTC collaborated with Siemens India to form Siemens Centre of Excellence, which constitutes advanced Industrial, Automation, IoT and Mechatronics Laboratories with a unique experimental setup in Maharashtra state. About Tree Plantation
On 28th July 2019, our college successfully completed the event of Tree Plantation under the guidance of Prof Adeel Ansari at college campus. Trees are the foremost source for producing the oxygen in environment, they helps to reduce the level of CO2. As we all know that the whole world is facing the problem of global warming and to recover from such problem planting the trees is become one of the most important aspects today.
It aims to increase to increase awareness of the natural resource, ensuring a healthy productive and sustainable environment. Prof Adeel Ansari encouraged students to plant more trees and take care of their plantation thereafter.
This awareness programs are key factors of encourage citizens to protect environment by planting trees. Students showed great enthusiasm in planting then on the day of “WNCD” and they knew their hard work recharge groundwater, prevents soil erosion.

The objectives of tree plantation:
That each student should plant one tree and also nurture that tree during his or her stay in the College campus. All students of MMANTC who are very interested in this kind of social activity have been directed to plant tree in MMANTC Campus on the occasion of world Nature Conservation Day.
MMANTC students have planted trees of various varieties like Neem, Shisham, Nilgiri, Kanchan a total of 50 samplings were planted in the college campus. These different varieties of trees have been planted in different areas of MMANTC campus. improvement.

JAL SHAKTI ABHIYAN UNDER THE MINISTRY OF HUMAN RESOURCES AND DEVELOPMENT

Under the Ministry of Human Resources Development(GOI) 15 days campaigning program on “Swachhta Pakhawada-2019” and “Jal Shakti Abhiyan” had been conducted throughout the India within a span of1st September to 15th September of 2019.Under this banner and with the guidance of Principal Dr. A.K. Kureshi and Vice-Principal Dr. Muhammad Ramzan of MMANTC,Mansoora, Malegaonhad organized “Swachhta Pakhawada-2019” and “Jal Shakti Abhiyan” on 14 Sep 2019 in association with the Rotary Club of Malegaon at Saraswati Prathmik School at Sayana Budruk and two more school at Soygaon. (Navbharat Madhhyamik Viddyalya and Vinay Mandir Prathmik Shada).

The session had been started with felicitation of Head Master of schools and guest invited for the program by the hand of event coordinator Prof. Abu Usama and Prof. Khalid Iqbal of Department of Civil Engineering. Prof Khalid Iqbal explained the aim and objectives of the program. The working model of Rain Water Harvestingwas presented by our students Mr. Maaz Arqam (SE Civil) and Mr. Ansari Abuzar (SE Civil)and also it was demonstrated that how we can save rain water at our homes. The importance and methods of water conservation was elaborated with the help of powerpoint presentation by our student Mr. Diwakar Ashutosh (BE Civil)

A short Street Play was also conducted by the team of student which helps to promote the awareness of water conservation among the local peoples of villages.At the last, our sincere vote of thanks was offered towards schools management and Rotary Club of Malegaon for their valuable support in Conduction of the event.

Industrial Approach in Engineering and Arduino Programming

A Four Day workshop on Arduino was organized by Department of Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering, MMANTC on 05th, 06th, 7th and 8th September 2019. The workshop was organized for SE, TE, BE students of Electrical, Mechanical & E&TC department. 35 students along with 08 teaching staff actively participated in the workshop.

The inaugural ceremony of the workshop witnessed the presence of Dr. A.K.Kureshi Principal MMANTC, along with the faculty and staff members of Departments of E&TC, EE and Mech.Prof. Shahzad Mobeen, HoD, E&TC Department formally welcomed the dignitaries and experts from MET’s Bhujbal Knowledge city Nashik in his opening address. He also gave the introduction to the workshops with schedules and contents to be covered in the workshop.

Dr. A.K Kureshi, Principal MMANTC in his motivational address emphasized upon the importance of learning new technologies and tools for the students. He also highlighted the vast scope of Arduino Processor with hands on practice. Mr. K.R Bhagat, highlighted the technical details of the workshop in his address. Mr. Shah Awais Asst. Prof. proposed the vote of thanks to all dignitaries present, guests, and participants.

The workshop was conducted by an external expert from MET’s Bhujbal Knowledge city Nashik, Mr. K. R. Bhagat assistant professor. He is having 10 years of teaching experience. He has conducted more than 20 workshops. He was also worked in the Indian Army as a Helicopter Engineer. He has got Gold Medal in diploma, Army Avionics in Hyderabad.

The main objective of this workshop was the industrial approach of engineering and Arduino. The topics covered in the workshop include – Hardware and Software Programming. The outcome of the workshop was in the form of the implementation of a sample working project.

The topic of expert lecture:- Civil Services Preparation.

The civil services and engineering services examination is one of the toughest exams in our country. By qualifying for this exam a candidate can work in different Indian administrative departments. Hence for the preparation of such an exam and the motivation of the students, MMANTC had invited the young IES officer Er. Mohammed Faiz is working as a Chief Workshop Manager in Indian Railway Manmad as an expert.

The program was started with the recitation of Holy Quran by Momin Abdullah Student of SE Mech. After that Principal, A.K Kureshi has elaborated the Importance of such competitive exams and their scenario in front of students.

Er. Mohammed Faiz has delivered the lecture regarding the importance of Indian Engineering service and civil services exams along with their boons in progressive society of India. The mid of session was focused on the process of appointment which can be done after the qualifications of this exam. A prime focus was given on techniques and methods to be adopted for the preparation of preliminary and mains examination along with the area of studies required to look for i.e. current affairs, technical, etc.

After this, a focus was given on which books to be preferred for exams, time scheduling, subject selection and its detailed study, the importance of group discussion, and benefits of social media as an effective learning platform available as a modern tool.

The session was concluded with a closing remark and a vote of thanks to the guest by Principal Dr A. K. Kureshi sir.
